Frequently Asked Questions
Got a question? You might find the answer right here. ☕🧶
If not, you’re always welcome to get in touch — I’m happy to help!
What am I actually buying?
All crochet patterns in the shop are digital PDF patterns for you to make the character yourself. No physical crocheted item will be sent to you.
Think of it as the recipe… except the end result is considerably cuter. 🍂
How will I receive my pattern?
Your pattern will be available as a digital PDF download after your purchase is complete.
If you’re having trouble accessing your file, just get in touch and I’ll help you find it.
Are your patterns beginner friendly?
Many of them are! 🧶
Each listing includes a skill level so you can choose a pattern that feels right for you. My beginner-friendly patterns are written with clear instructions, helpful photographs and plenty of little notes along the way.
Because crochet should be fun — not result in you glaring at Round 7 like it has personally offended you.
What crochet terminology do you use?
My patterns are written using US crochet terminology.
Any abbreviations and stitches you’ll need are explained within the pattern.
What language are the patterns written in?
At the moment, TLPP patterns are written in English.
What do I need to make one of your patterns?
The exact materials are listed on each pattern, but most of my amigurumi designs use:
Yarn
A crochet hook
Stuffing
Safety eyes or embroidery thread
A yarn needle
Stitch markers
Scissors
You’ll find a full materials list inside your PDF too, so there’s no need to play a game of guess what the tiny acorn requires. 🌰
Can I use different yarn or colours?
Absolutely!
The suggested yarn is there to help you recreate the original design, but you’re very welcome to experiment with different colours, yarn weights and combinations.
Just remember that changing the yarn weight or hook size will usually change the finished size of your amigurumi.
How big will my finished amigurumi be?
Finished sizes are included in the individual pattern listings.
Measurements are approximate because everyone’s crochet tension is a little different — handmade characters like to have personalities from the very beginning. 🥹
Can I sell items I make from your patterns?
Yes! Small-scale selling of finished items handmade by you is absolutely welcome. ❤️
Please credit The Littlest Pumpkin Patch / TLPP as the pattern designer wherever possible.
The patterns themselves, photographs and written instructions may not be copied, shared, resold, translated, redistributed or reproduced.
Can I share the pattern with a friend?
Please don’t share or distribute the PDF itself.
Your purchase is for personal use by one maker, but you can absolutely send your friend the link to the pattern so they can grab their own copy.
Matching crochet characters are highly encouraged. 👀
Can I return or exchange a digital pattern?
Because these are digital downloadable products, they generally cannot be returned in the same way as a physical item.
However, if you accidentally purchase the same pattern twice or something has gone wrong with your order, please contact me and I’ll always do my best to help.
I’m stuck on part of a pattern — can you help?
Of course!
If something isn’t making sense, send me a message and let me know which pattern, round or step you’re working on. A photo of your work can be really helpful too.
I want you to actually finish your tiny crochet friend — not leave them dramatically unfinished in the bottom of your project basket. 🧶
Can I print the PDF?
Yes!
The patterns are designed to work both digitally and as printed pages, so you can choose whichever method you prefer.
Do I need to create an account to buy a pattern?
You can follow the checkout options available on the website when placing your order. If you create an account, it can also make keeping track of your purchases a little easier.
Do you sell finished crochet characters too?
The main focus of The Littlest Pumpkin Patch is crochet patterns.
Keep an eye on the shop and socials for new arrivals. 🍂
How do I hear about new patterns?
You can follow The Littlest Pumpkin Patch on social media or join the mailing list for new character launches, pattern releases, offers and all the latest happenings from the Patch.
Fair warning: there will probably be an unreasonable number of tiny faces involved. 🎃
Still need a hand?
Send me a message through the contact page and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
